Toast the sweet life at the world’s best-selling muscadine winery

The scuppernong — a type of muscadine grape — is the official state fruit of North Carolina, and the sweet wines produced from it are cherished by many Southerners. One of the largest and oldest wineries in the South, Duplin Winery is the best-selling muscadine winery in the world with a million-gallon tank capacity. The winery offers free daily production facility tours as well as free daily tastings and an on-site bistro featuring local foods that pair well with Duplin wine.
